Focus and Scope

OBGYNIA (Indonesian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Science)  is a journal in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is officially issued by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine of Padjadjaran University. OBGYNIA published research articles about the new scientific, clinical management of the patient, surgical techniques, new treatments and service evaluation, management and treatment services in obstetrics and gynecology covers areas:

  • Fertility and Reproductive Endocrine
  • Maternalfetal Medicine
  • Oncology
  • Reconstruction Urogynecology
  • Obstetrics and Social Gynecology

This journal is expected to be a reliable source of information, quality and complete knowledge about medicine and health.

Indonesian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Science (Obgynia) is accredited (2018-2022) by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia with Third Grade (Peringkat 3, Sinta 3), No 158/E/KPT/2021.

Peer Review Process

Indonesian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Science (Obgynia) conducts a manuscript review process with 2 (two) reviewers, after previously going through a screening process by the editor to ensure that the manuscript is in accordance with the Obgynia format. If the manuscript is in accordance with the Obgynia format, then the manuscript is reviewed with the Double Blind Review system, and it is ensured that there is no author's name on the manuscript, so that the reviewer and author do not know each other. The review process takes about 2-3 weeks, depending on the feedback on the manuscript.

If the results of the review include suggestions for improvement from the reviewer, then the author is asked to be willing to improve the manuscript according to the reviewers' suggestions. Then the author sends the revised manuscript back to the Obgynia Editorial Team, and marks the revised manuscript (highlights) on the revised manuscript, and completes it with a certificate of proofreading.

The final manuscript of the author that has gone through the review process will be checked again by the Editor. If the manuscript is in accordance and answers the reviewer's suggestions, then the manuscript is forwarded to the Language copyeditor to check the grammar. Once the language copyeditor has completed the review, the manuscript is ready for the publication process.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Free access to the full text of all published articles without charge readers or their institutions for access.

  2. This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License  (CC-BY-SA)
  3. This journal is an open-access with abstracts and full articles downloadable for free as Adobe portable document format (PDF) files

 

 

Plagiarism Check

The Indonesian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Science will screen manuscripts sent by authors using the manuscript plagiarism checking program, Turnitin. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Please ensure that the manuscript similarity is not more than 20%. If more than specified will be returned to the author for correction. The author can also check plagiarism by attaching the results.
